Terms of Service

1. Service

Barback provides a restaurant operations intelligence platform that analyzes POS, labor, invoice, and menu data to surface cost and margin insights. By using Barback, you agree to these terms.

2. Free trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start a trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan at the rate shown at signup.

3. Subscriptions and billing

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually depending on your plan selection
• Billing occurs automatically on your renewal date
• You can cancel at any time from your billing settings — access continues until the end of the current billing period
• Refunds are not issued for partial months unless required by law
• We may update pricing with 30 days notice

4. Your data

You retain ownership of all restaurant data you upload or connect to Barback. We process your data to deliver the service. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Barback to: violate any law, scrape or resell the service, attempt to access other customers' data, or interfere with the platform's operation.

6. AI-generated insights

Barback's signals and recommendations are AI-generated based on your data and should be reviewed by you before acting on them. Barback is not liable for business decisions made based on its insights. Use your own judgment.

7. Limitation of liability

Barback is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, we will retain your data for 90 days before deletion.
